Since working with large commercial clients, we are more than used to having our construction phase health & safety plan approved by some of the major planning supervisors within the UK as well as being monitored on a regular basis throughout the works, always managing to abide by or exceed their expectations.

No matter the size of our project, site specific risk assessments and method statements are prepared to ensure a safe system of work is in place. Our site managers/ foremen undergo site management (SMSTS) and first aid training to ensure our company policy is implemented to protect site personnel, visitors and members of the public that may be affected by our works. Our clients often comment on our team’s professionalism and awareness when carrying out works around the public, which is something we regularly do throughout the year.

One of our first large commercial projects in 1986 was for Chessington Wold of Adventures and still to this day we are an approved contractor carrying out works on a regular basis. Webb Groundworks reached new heights in 2021 when working at 3 Merlin sites during the same period (Chessington World of Adventures, Legoland Windsor & Thorpe Park), this is a first in our history and a proud moment for us all.

Since 2017, we have been working closely with a facilities management company to carry out various works for business parks and offices in and around Surrey. These range from small trip hazard remedial works to larger groundworks projects, depending on their client’s requirements. On occasions our works have been carried out during out of hours/weekend visits to accommodate tenant’s business operations.
